DT 702 aka Black McCaulay Culkin aka Sin City's Very Own began his journey into the Hip Hop Industry in 2014. He started off writing poetry but was later encouraged by his cousins LaShone (Tha Spa) and Edward (Nevada Boy E) to become a rap artist. He wasn't so sure about taking that path until Ed, who was a rapper, invited him to his home studio. DT recorded his first track "Drink Motivation" and from that point forth he decided he would take full advantage of his time and invest into his newly discovered talent. The following year, DT 702 was managed by his cousin Kelly (Kelz) who was heavily involved in the Music Industry. During this time DT and Edward became a duo/group called "Sin City Flow”, but once new doors began to open he separated from his family to embark as an Independent Artist. Due to his drive and consistency, DT was introduced to his new manager Natrell Anderson by way of a friend of the family.
Since then, he has continued to dive deeper into his craft by making appearances and performances at Club Niche, Club Sauce, Money Plays, The Alton Sterling Rally Event, The Queen G Live Experience and has released a music video with Davion White for "Keep it 100."
DT's style of rap is influenced by Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West, and Nas just to name a few. He is determined as a music artist to stay true to self and remain consistent. He encourages his listeners to do the same.
